I just booked a ticket to Stockholm and Berlin for this summer! I am really excited to head back to Stockholm since I never actually wanted to leave the last time I went. Can't wait to see if it lives up to my glorified memories! 🙂 I've never been to Berlin before but am thrilled because I'll be staying with a friend who is born and raised there. Still, there's no end to my summertime dreams for travel.

Ooh Stockholm!!! In the summer! Sounds like bliss – never been but always wanted to go. We’re heading to Portland for the first time next month and I cannot wait! Also have trips on the books to Disneyland and Santa Cruz. Love summer travel!
I thought I recognized that top picture! When we were in Stockholm, our friend lent us her Kungsholmen apartment for a week – what a sweetie, eh?
This summer we’re bound for Paris for a week (I’m giving a paper at a conference) and then are headed south to spend five days in Granada, where I have wanted to travel for oh-so-long. I cannot wait to see the Alhambra! I used airbnb to book apartments in both cities; our place in Granada is so large that we’ve invited our Swedish friend to come and stay with us, if she can! (I hope she can!)
We aren’t overlapping, are we? I leave to return home on the 18th.
If you have any archipelago suggestions from your last trip, would love them. We’re only planning a day trip (or two)…Thanks! I’ll definitely let you know if I find any unpublished awesomeness in the city (I’ve been compiling all sorts of online guides).
If you book any other trips, Chicago in the summer is pretty fab – def. different than the west coast. You, too, Uncle Beefy…come visit!
How wonderful! I’m looking forward to traveling home to Arkansas for my one and only nephew’s first birthday, and maybe the husband and I will make it to Ireland at the end of the summer to visit his family. Hopefully there will be more travel, as I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust at the moment.

Oh wow, so wonderful. Good for you. Sweden is at the top of my wish list. I’m going to Victoria, and maybe the prairies. Nothing as exciting as Europe. Looking forward to seeing your pictures.
