  1. This painting is so romantic!
One of the things I would love to accomplish in 2010 is to buy a house here in London, where we have been renting for years.
This painting would look wonderful in my dream house!

    Thanks!

  9. I came across this inspirational quote by Abram L Urban that reminds me of this painting.

“In my garden there is a place for sentiment.
My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams.
The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams as beautiful”.

Thank you for introducing me to this wonderfully talented artist.

  10. Thank you for hosting this great giveaway. This picture is beautiful. I would love it for my daughters to grow up with and share in the beauty of love.

  11. That painting is EXACTLY the sort I have been looking for–dreamy, romantic, and perfect for the little ache in my heart that’s been longing for spring to come early!

  12. I am the only female in my home. I would love this touch of femininity to remind me that I don’t need to balance the masculinity all by myself. What a generous giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity Chelsea!

  13. Oh I love this, even though my style is usually a little more rigidly traditional.

    Happiest New Year, sweet Chelsea.

  14. There is something so ethereal about the somewhat unfinished look of this. Such an alluring part is the consumingness of the flowers over the women or is it the women over the flowers. So pretty

  15. Roses and ranuncs, I’m in flora heaven as normal, prettiness personified in a painting! Where do you trouve these gems? Another inspiring frolic find, HNY from a fellow flower girl xx

  22. Please enter me for your drawing. My Mother grows old roses. Recently looking after my 88 yr old Dad has become all consuming, like the woman in the painting. This would be a wonderful pick me up for her.
