Lisbon Gardens: Scenes from Ajuda

If gardens juxtaposed with a city skyline are your thing, don’t miss Ajuda when you come to Lisbon! A walled garden with extensive acreage, an agriculture and engineering school, a grand glass house, and garden-strewn residences of the workers and students, Ajuda is a must-see for any horticulture-lover. Enjoy a visual tour here and I am sure I’ll be sharing more from this special place, very soon! Note: these were taken in January so cabbages, aloe, and “early spring” blossoms abound.

  1. This is definitely on our agenda when we visit in November. Is the Restaurant Estufa
Real worth a try? Can’t wait to roam around the city and experience all it’s wonders!
