If gardens juxtaposed with a city skyline are your thing, don’t miss Ajuda when you come to Lisbon! A walled garden with extensive acreage, an agriculture and engineering school, a grand glass house, and garden-strewn residences of the workers and students, Ajuda is a must-see for any horticulture-lover. Enjoy a visual tour here and I am sure I’ll be sharing more from this special place, very soon! Note: these were taken in January so cabbages, aloe, and “early spring” blossoms abound.
