oh! i missed this news! you are here? i’m sure your time will be filled with picnics and pies with other admiring friends, but should you have a spare moment, i’d love to rendez-vous!
I’ve rented a rowboat in Monterey, California. We pretended we were the couple that Renoir was painting! It was a gorgeous day (not too hot, not too cold) and I had to beg to row the boat, myself!!!
this photo brings back memories. and my favorite childhood memory would have to be going out on the boat with my family. we would spend the entire sunday on the water.

I always enjoying sitting by the fountain and watch people rowing.

Mary in Eugene
i’ve always wanted to do this in central park!
I tried them when I was in Oxford – and nearly fell into the water much to the amusement of some british lads 🙂
such a calm and relaxing image, I could stare at it all day.
amen to that. row boats are a must.
Aw, this is such a fun activity to do in Central Park! 🙂
I wish more places had them. Something so romantic about them!
I so very much agree.

Gosh, I miss Central Park! The lake, the Mall and the Bethesda fountain were my favorite bits – I never got sick of them 🙂
This looks like so much fun. Straight out of a Bridget Jones novel.
