I just popped on the computer quickly today to upload some photos and noticed Sarah Berry posted this absolutely glorious party! Held at the Notting Hill children's shop, Caramel, the party was designed by Scenographic to celebrate the shop's 10th anniversary. The giant balloons on the storefront and sherbet color scheme have me drooling!
I wish more bakers made peach cakes. For some reason there seems to be a stigma around peach-colored frosting, but that cake ties the whole table together IMO, it’s stunning! Someday when I open my fake imaginary dream bakery, I will have lots of peachy, rosy cakes.
I agree, Amy!! Some people also think buttercream cakes are passé but I simply adore the colors and old-fashioned quality of them.
oh my gosh! thanks for sharing this. i am in love.
Beautiful colour palette, love the flowers and the mismatched vases. Thanks for sharing!
It’s a beauty isn’t it?! I’d have loved to go to that party..
Balloons on the ceiling is always so festive! We ordered 100 helium balloons in black and silver for our last New Year’s party…. so fun!
Ooh la la, the oranges look so delicious! This is inspiring me to do an orange post over at my own blog!
love the colour scheme!!
These images are full of inspiration from the bunting and balloons at the store front to the inside, that cake is absolutely yummy!
My grandmother used to make the best butter cream frosting. She’d make extra so I could lick the bowl!!
Looks wonderful, the balloons in the first image are such a smart idea!
those big metallic Mylar balloons look so grand, they should have them up every weekend!
i miss london!
oh this is so pretty…i love the pink + orange and yellow…i’m going to have to somehow use this for one of the girlie’s b-day parties…hmm
This is so unbelievably stunning! It looks so effortless but perfectly put together. Love the colors and the balloons just floating on the ceiling! Perfection!
so beautiful and inspiring. thanks for that. it goes well with the nice spring weather.
The color theme is great! This sure was a great party!
