You know I love tartan, so I couldn't resist pulling together a tartan table! For the centerpiece, I simply piled lady apples onto a large cake stand. Each favor is a bouquet garni using my favorite Christmas herbs: bay and rosemary.
Tartan fabrics- Mill End, vintage tea towels, china plates, utensils- Stockholm Stadsmission, cake stand- Crate & Barrel, glasses-vintage. lanterns- Lagerhaus.

Oh Chelsea! If you decorate I’ll cook!

Beautiful! I think I have some of that plaid fabric from Mill End, actually. I loooooove tartan especially this Christmas season and have done several DIY projects with old Pendleton pleated skirts on my blog, check it out!
Very beautiful!
Love this! (especially the huge platter of apples). My bed currently has that tartan in flannel.
oh tartan, you make me happy.
I love this! That pile of apples is beautiful.
A lovely table for a Holiday dinner – I can almost hear my Gene Autry Christmas record playing in the background. Is that cheesy?

This warmed my heart! I can just imagine having a wonderful dinner with my family, drinking spiked mulled cider, telling stories, and laughing all night long in the candlelight!
Love the tea towels. They would even work with my initials but I guess that’s true of Lizzy too.
Really nice and original take on the Christmas colors and decorations!!!
