Last night I saw Laura Gibson perform at the Doug Fir. It was so cool, she baked a plate of cookies to share with the audience! They were yummy. I just really love her sound. It will put you to sleep but it's lovely. After she sang, Thao and The Get Down Stay Down performed. It was my second time seeing them and I'd see them again and again and again. Thao is one of the most entertaining performers I've ever seen. I've already blogged about her a couple of times so I'll shut my mouth now.

I liked how Laura asked everyone to only take one cookie as she wasn’t sure she baked enough for everybody. And then to have Thao confess she had taken 3.
I really need to get to P-town more often… you guys have the coolest bands come through! I’ve seen a couple shows at the Doug Fir and I love it as a venue. I also agree that seeing Thao over and over again would be a treat – she’s awesome!
