I like using parchment paper with flowers because it offers a fresh, modern feel and it's inexpensive. For these DIY centerpieces, I covered drinking glasses in parchment, stuck a number sticker on each one and filled them with blown open roses and dahlias. See full article here.

    I covered big hurricane cylinders with parchment paper and put LED lights in them, and now I enjoy flickering lights all over my apartment 🙂
