project wedding: linen + lace

I've been really excited about all the gorgeous Queen Anne's Lace growing along the roadsides lately. I decided to pair them with linen and a handmade ceramic vase from Ink & Peat for this Project Wedding story.

  1. Carefull when handeling queen annes lace! You can develop phytophotodermatitis (http://www.telemedicine.org/botanica/bot5.htm) which is a reaction on the skin from being in the sun where you have touched queen annes lace or similar plants. It can leave the skin darkened or possibly blistered. (It’s happened to me, and I can still see a little of the mark from 4 years ago)
