Every time I visit my mom's kitchen, she's has a dish of carrots being readied for something. She scrubs and trims them until they are little works of art. Luckily, I had my Polaroid in tow this weekend so I could try and capture their loveliness.
In a world filled with bagged, prewashed mini carrots (which I also admit to buying and eating. a lot.), it’s refreshing to see carrots as they used to be in every kitchen… so homey and timeless.
i’d love to rabbit-bite into one of those right now! i used to eat so many carrots my mom would tell me i’d turn orange. nope. only my self-tanner using friends turned orange, not carrot-eating-me.
beatiful!
perhaps one or two for the easter bunny? munch munch munch…
so perfect!

Pretty and yum!
Do Easter carrots hop? Do they bring Easter eggs? Can we decorate them? Perhaps some crochet covers? Some ikat?
