I think it might have been these pictures from the Sally Scott website that first inspired it. But, for the last month, I’ve been coming up with ideas in my head for a lovely fall feast outside. It includes a farm table dragged into the garden and simply set with old china and linen, bowls of chestnuts and walnuts, people bundled up, and loads of warm food. Would probably be ideal without the rain.
Your parents’ eden-like backyard is perfect for this. Maybe you’ll be lucky and have no rain that day, miracles happen!
that DOES sound lovely. although, unfortunately, i don’t know anyone adventurous enough to go along with it.
I’d go along with it! Of course, if the wind will die down and the rains stop for an evening.
Thanks for the link – I absolutely love those photos and the idea behind them!!
