Carolyne Roehm was one of my inspirations when I got started in the floral business. Some of her ideas have since grown a little too stiff and uptight East Coast in my eyes, but I still love a lot of what she does. Everything is so lush and sophisticated. I was finally able to look through her new book in person last night and it has some really great visual inspirations. My favorite image was this one from her Spooky Soiree (such a refreshing twist on traditional Halloween) and my favorite idea was her giant 20 ft Christmas tree topiaries made from salal and magnolia branches.
