It has been a long time since I have been inspired by sewing patterns. Probably not since 1986 when I would go to the fabric store several times a month with my mom in anticipation of the new Laura Ashley and Gunne Sax patterns (Yes those used to be sooooo in and so preppy! Sort of like the old versions of Anthropologie). I was feeling very uninspired by patterns at Fabric Depot today until I found these darling, hip, and fun patterns by Built by Wendy. I am going to try a few of these out and I already have some of my grandmother’s antique buttons picked out to use.
