I feel so schizophrenic about design sometimes. I love so many looks
and I think I am a pretty good copy cat. Sometimes I pick up a magazine
and get really excited about copying to a T a lovely sparse white and
pink minimalist apartment. But, after I unpack my boxes and look at all
my belongings, I decide that I want to be surrounded with things that
are ME instead of just trying to prove that I can have a magazine
worthy house. I’ve been a huge fan of Rita Konig for a while now and her apartments
are my latest inspirations. I love their personal displays, their
haphazardness, their Englishness. I love how they seem to feel so
comfortable and lived in.
