I just discovered a new Portland band called Day of Lions. Once in a while, their mood is a little too earnest for my taste but they have a beautiful, Mazzy Star quality that I can't ignore. The lovely blend of their voices is making me happy today. Oh and if you are in Portland, they are playing at the Doug Fir tonight.
