Flower schools have been really popular in London for years now. I was finally able to attend some classes at Jane Packer, Wild at Heart and Judith Blacklock in 2002. Now you don’t have to travel to London. Jane Packer opened her own school in NYC as well as a small shop a few years back. A couple of years ago one of my favorite NYC florists started his own school as well. See info here. The neat thing about Flower School NY is that it has instructors from lots of different florists in NYC. I am thinking about taking a class when I am there in September.
