A Walk Through London’s Brixton Market

While traveling through Europe last year, I had the chance to visit London a few different times, each time I stayed in a new neighborhood and discovered a totally different part of the city. In March, while working on this story for Airbnb, I lived on top of the Brixton Market for a week. I fell in love with the culturally diverse area and the market, that operates as the heart of the neighborhood. My friend Sarah, introduced me to a few of her favorite spots, including Rosie’s, a fantastic little cafe that’s a great spot for a morning tea and scone. I also loved the dollar stores full of enamelware, and Flower Love London was a fantastic fresh flower stand (see photo below!). The market is such a great mix of curated shops and gritty, interesting take out spots, fish markets, produce stands, textiles from around the world, and more!  Take the tube to Brixton Station and you’ll have the market at your footsteps! Enjoy this visual tour, and feel free to chime in with your favorite Brixton spots in the comments.
