Today, enjoy a photo essay celebrating the last days of summertime. A golden summer light hangs over the weeks as the threat of fall starts to linger, memories of fresh chicken eggs, English gardens, backyard bouquets gathered in the dark, and barefoot wanderings remain at the front of my mind. The tactile, meditative farm chores like drying onions, harvesting chickpeas, and gathering fresh chicken eggs every morning, are highlights in my mind.
