Come along with me on a visit to the island of Fårö! My dear friend, Maria, took me on a day trip to this magical island where we picked raspberries, strolled along the sea discovering wooden boats and fishing shacks, through mossy forests, and into the only store on the island for a makeshift fika! This sparse island was home to the filmmaker Ingmar Bergman. It’s dotted with stone houses, fascinating rock formations, and windmills. I plan to return in the spring and summer for the wildflowers and berry foraging!
