My sister tried teaching me to knit during Thanksgiving. It was easier than I thought, although I am so impatient. That's the challenge. I think I'll give it another go, though. She was telling me about the gorgeous patterns at Brooklyn Tweed. The patterns are so pretty and I just love all the photography and styling too.

Well, then your sister would be on Ravelry, right ? My advice is you go browse projects there and i bet you’ll give it another try very soon !!
Yay, I’m so glad you tried it. Knitting and tea are in our future, I hope?
If I may, if you like Jared’s work you may enjoy the Coastal Knits book (https://www.coastalknits.com/patterns.php). No affiliation, just think it’s brilliant. =D
WOW. The shop and the blog are blowing me away! I’ve got to get back into knitting so it sticks this time, because that I *want* that Barrington vest in my life! =)
Love that, Liberty!! Such pretty patterns. Thanks, Valerie. I’ll check that out and see if she’s on there!
Ha! My main problem with kitting is also that I am impatient!! I just knit and knit and knit, then I am like…how do I finish this?
So beautiful. I feel inspired to knit! Thanks for the great post!
Pretty!
