Last night I caught up on Ben Pentreath's blog (first introduced to me by Katy) and felt sick for England. I started dreaming of spending next spring and summer there. I'd love to apprentice with a gardener in England one day. Ben's flower beds are really a dream. I love how he sticks to just a few colors. And his use of lilies is so lovely! I really like the idea of planting them in pots. The kitchen of course, is a favorite as well. I am obsessed with English kitchens lately!

to be honest, england is not one of those destinations that i’m dying to go to. maybe it’s the language similarity that makes me feel that it’s not foreign enough or travel-worthy enough. also, perhaps, it’s because i’ve already visited london twice. but these photos are beautiful and are reminding me of the beautiful countryside that i am missed and am longing to see !!! can’t wait to see more on ben pentreath’s blog.

Come, Chelsea, come! I will be your tour guide!
Today is my first day home after a week in London and a long weekend in the Cotswolds. The English countryside has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. I’m already counting the days before I can return.
I would love to be having a traditional English breakfast in this kitchen. It’s just lovely.

I always love to see how the Brits live. Probably because the hubs is English and I’m hoping we’ll move there soon. I could live here quite easily!
Come to England – we’d love to have you!
That’s my idea of a perfect kitchen! Looks so fresh and yet lived-in.
