I'll take a hamper from England over our American gift baskets any day. The picnic basket with strawberries and clotted cream is calling my name. Though more suited to a glamorous girl, I also adore the Marie Antoinette style hatboxes tied with a satin ribbon and filled to the brim with silver candies and champagne!
Via Charlotte Moss's blog which is oh so lovely. Cassandra, I think it's right up your alley!
Fortnum’s advertising is quite charming too. I’ve linked to some vintage illustrations I blogged a couple of years ago, I think you’ll like 🙂
Oooohhh… Fortnum and Mason… I do so love their tea. In a former life, my family lived in London. We quite spoiled ourselves with F&M tea – Earl Grey, of course!
I adore Fortnum & Mason. Their packaging for tea is to die for. Not to mention their window displays!
Hamper – that’s a word my parents use but that I have not heard in a while 🙂
