hello from sweden!

Sweden 1

Hello! I've arrived safe and sound to the Stockholm Archipelago. I was greeted by sunshine, fields of wildflowers, adorable cottage, after adorable cottage, very cute children (everywhere!) and homemade Kanelbulle. All I can say is that this is a very magical place! Above are just a few snapshots from one of my walks. I am doing a lot of walking!!

  1. Oh, that’s so nice! Me and my husband just went there for a little honeymoon and we had the same lovely weather. I just love your photos, they look so typcially swedish and feel a lot like home for a swede like me 🙂

We took a day trip by boat to a place called Vaxholm and it was very cute, but I’m sure there are many lovely islands to choose from 🙂 Hope you’re trip goes well and that you’ll have many lovely memories when you go home 🙂

  2. Sounds like you’re loving Sweden already. I’ve only been once in winter and I am dying to go back during the summer months. I hear the sun stays out extra long at this time of year. Enjoy it!

  3. Yay! You found a red cabin. I made kanelbulle a couple of weeks ago. It took forever and then when they were done I remembered that I’m on a diet. Sigh.

  4. This is so exciting! I can’t wait to read and see more from your travels! I’ve never been to Sweden, but my fella really loves Stockholm. Someday, someday (hopefully soon!) we’ll go back together; in the meantime, he’s going to love seeing your photos and hearing your stories, too!

  5. Hooray! I can’t imagine how amazing it must be so far. And can’t wait to live vicariously through you when you share bits of your adventure!

  6. I am glad I discovered your blog! And anybody who likes Sweden gets extra attention from me! (: (I am a Swede blogging from the US). I will check in often! Enjoy your wonderful walks. I can almost smell the fresh air!

  7. My favorite place in all the world. I may visit my mother and stepfather there this summer. Go eat fish. Listen to music. Wander around.
