furoshiki wrapping I love these new organic wraps from Chewing the Cud ! I've always loved this Japanese style of gift wrapping and it's eco-friendly too. * Viola just wrote in and said these will be available starting in June!
Koreans use that method too! I’m not sure who started it, but either way it’s definitely eco-friendly! I simply use vintage scarves…the square kind…or scarves you buy at the local Goodwill/Salvation Army. The above organic wraps are way cute! I love the illustrations! Reply
They have similar fabrics at the Powell’s garden and cooking shop on Hawthorne. And they have a little sign about using them to wrap presents. So cute! Reply
Wow! That’s such a great idea, wrapping gifts in a pretty fabric… I might do that with my next gift! Reply
How do I get my hands on these? I looked at the link, but on etsy they only seem to be selling cards. I would love to purchase some or find out where I can find them. Thanks! Reply

I love this! It’s so beautiful and looks so much easier to wrap odd-shaped gifts.
