I was intrigued when I came across Danielle's photos on Flickr. Come to find out, she lives on Prince Edward Island. When I was 14, I visited the island and now I keep thinking about how I want to go back. Did you know Anne of Green Gables (P.E.I's literary heroine) is 100 years old this year? Also, isn't that house dreamy? It was designed by this firm in Charlottetown, P.E.I. See more photos of my dream island here.
I love Anne and all things PEI! Thanks for the sparkly photos!
Anne of Green Gables was my FAVORITE when I was a small girl (I even pretended my first name was Anne – spelled with an e of course, not the boring old A-n-n way) 🙂
I loved Anne so much my parents took me on a two week Anne of Green Gables road trip to PEI when I was 10. It was so beautiful I’d love to go back.
I <3 Anne of Green Gables and I've always wanted to visit there... Thanks for giving me a peek of what I'm missing out on! 🙂
I have always wanted to go to PEI after obsessively devouring the Anne of Green Gables books as a young girl. Someday I will get there…but until then, thanks for the gorgeous photos! Hope to see you sometime soon!
I live by AoGG’s
“Tomorrow is a new day, with no mistakes in it”.
Oftentimes, when I was little, I’d make believe that I was Anne, daydreaming all over PEI.
These are lovely photos. 🙂
I visited PEI on an Anne Pilgrimage when I was a teen as well! The trip is one of my favorite memories. These photos are lovely!
Yay!
Glad to know I wasn’t the only adolescent obsessed with Anne! Thanks for your comments everyone.
Love Anne (and Gilbert Blythe) and PEI oysters!
