I don't know that I can adequately put into words the awesome-ness that is Riverside Farm. You have to see it to believe it. There are two beautifully renovated and decorated barns, an incredible suite of rooms in the stables, houses for the bride and the groom, and acres and acres of grounds set against the mountains. In a word: spectacular.

And while the setting made our wedding what it was, it was the people — specifically Liz and Courtney and the folks at Riverside — who made it so special, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been in such good hands. They are cool ladies, thoughtful and attentive, pizza-making-at-midnight-when-the-bride-is-starving kinds of people.

At the last minute I asked our JP, Judith Dark, if she would consider amending her words to say the following: "By the power vested in me by the State of Vermont, and the good people who live here, I now pronounce…".  Liz and Courtney and all of the other Vermonters who were there to help us are just that: really, really good people.
