My Dad just sent me the link to Lucia’s Little Houses. Oh my so cute! Robert Knight is an architect based out of Blue Hill, Maine (my most favorite little town I have ever visited!). He gets a big kick out of designing small houses (636 -2000 square feet). The houses have lovely things like screened in porches and sleeping lofts.
I love smaller homes. They can really challenge and showcase the creativity of the architect.
Love these! The NYTimes had another little house story the other day: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/11/garden/11tiny.html?ref=garden. They would make for great blogger studios, I think. 🙂
Shucks! Commenting cut off the link:

i honestly love small things (except checks) and would be very happy in a tiny little house in the perfect setting like the one in photo.
OMG – I want one!
How sweet!
I’ll have to look up Blue Hill, Maine…maybe we’ll do a day trip?
They are really lovely. I like the fact that they are remote.
My two lifetime dreams…a tiny house and Maine! Sigh….. (I’m dyin’ here with sweetness!)
